002 - Bring the Wilderness In

I’ve had a brilliant idea!

It’s just a matter of putting it into action and finding a room that Remus won’t kill me if I alter it temporarily.

If you can charm tents to be larger, why couldn’t we charm a room larger and charm it to look like we’re outdoors? Enchanted ceilings and carpet -- We could make it smell like real grass and water and everything else. I think I could pull this off. I mean, it can’t be that difficult. I do experimental charms for a living. I think I can pull this off.

If you can’t visit the great outdoors, then why not bring the outdoors to you?

Hypothetically, if a room here were charmed to look like the great outdoors would you kill the person who did it? It’s come to my attention that a number of us are starting to get a bit claustrophobic here and if we could only trick ourselves to think we’re outside for one day it might help. I think I could pull off the charms but I wouldn’t want to do anything for morale without your consent.

I think I'm in the best mood that I've been in in a long time.

I might not be able to leave here but I think I might know how to be useful for a change and that in itself is good news.

	I still haven't quite decided that far. I'll probably go roaming some this afternoon to see if I can find one that hasn't already been claimed. I'm fairly ace when it comes to charms and transfiguration if there is any other way I can assist in the future. I hate feeling like I'm doing nothing around here. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Technically no. I suppose it's something along those lines though. You have to think outside of the box a bit to figure it out. (Reply to this) (Parent)
